The home is one of the best (and toughest!) places to make disciples. Parenting is a high calling whether you’re a Christian or not—but if you’re actively trying to make disciples of your kids, you’ve got a huge, formidable, and audacious task set before you.
The good news is that Paul tells Timothy that all Scripture is useful for training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16), which means there’s plenty of help for parents in the Bible. We don't have all the answers, but we feel that it's important for all parents to be supported in this godly endeavor and train the next generation of believers to love and fear God.
So come, enjoy a hot potluck meal, and lead your children by example by showing them that even an awesome parent like YOU need to receive teaching, instruction, and encouragement from other believers..
